2.1 Registration and participation in GrindingHub digital (including associated Web Sessions)

In order to participate in and conduct GrindingHub digital, prior registration on our website is required. We process this data exclusively to enable you to participate in GrindingHub digital, to confirm your registration and log in to GrindingHub digital, to further inform you about GrindingHub digital in which you wish to participate, and to be able to carry out the corresponding processing communication. Your consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future by deleting your account.

2.2 Storage of your data for upcoming digital event

As part of the registration process, you can agree to the further storage of your registration data for the purpose of participating in upcoming GrindingHub digital (including Web Sessions). This is to speed up the registration process for GrindingHub digital (including Web Sessions) for you and to facilitate your participation in upcoming GrindingHub digital (including Web Sessions).

3. Categories of personal data

We process the personal data you provide during registration for the purposes stated above. This includes the following data in any case:

  • First name Last name
  • Country
  • Company
  • E-mail address
  • Password

In addition, you may voluntarily provide us with the following personal information:

  • Function in the company
  • Phone number

4. Storage period

We generally delete your personal data provided during registration for GrindingHub digital (including Web Sessions) 3 years after your participation in the event, unless there are legal retention periods that prevent the deletion of your data.

If you consent to the storage of your personal data for the purpose of participating in upcoming GrindingHub digital (including Web Sessions) during the registration process, we will also store your data beyond the above-mentioned storage period until such time as you withdraw your consent.

If we process your personal data based on your consent for the purpose of advertising, your data will be deleted immediately after revocation of your consent.

5. Transfer of your data and data transfer outside the EU / EEA

For the purpose of participation and implementation of GrindingHub digital, we transmit your personal data in encrypted form to our dedicated partner and the respective exhibitor of GrindingHub digital. Partners of GrindingHub digital (including Web Sessions) can be found in the order processing contract.

We will transfer your data to external service providers to enable you to participate in our GrindingHub digital (including Web Sessions), provide IT support and GrindingHub digital performance (in particular for GrindingHub digital documentation) and (if) you have consented) for us to contact you for promotional purposes, whereby we carefully select, screen and contractually bind these service providers in accordance with legal requirements.

    In principle, you have the right to obtain information on the personal data referred to in Art. 15 GDPR. You also have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data pursuant to Art. 15(3) GDPR.
  • Right to rectification or erasure - Art. 16 and 17 GDPR
    You have the right to have incorrect personal data corrected. In addition, you have the right to request that your personal data be deleted if further processing is no longer necessary, if the processing is unlawful or if you have withdrawn your consent.
  • Right to restrict processing - Art. 18 GDPR
    If the conditions in Art. 18 GDPR are met, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data, i.e. to prevent further processing for the time being.
  • Right to object - Article 21 GDPR
